BIOGRAFÍA
Luis Betancourt Nuñez – Petra es una artista mexicana que investiga la intersección entre el cuerpo y la virtualidad, generando imaginarios diversos a través de imágenes en movimiento. Su práctica se sustenta en la experimentación y en la observación de la naturaleza y del entorno, donde identifica nuevos espectros de espacialidad entre lo mainstream y lo digital. Utiliza tecnologías como programación creativa, machine learning, visión por computadora, animación, performance, danza en pantalla y movimiento expandido.
Su obra ha sido exhibida en espacios como Museo de Arte Moderno Mx, Salón de la Plástica Mexicana, CVPR Art Gallery, ASVOF, Miami Art Week, Super Chief Gallery, Free The Kitsch Festival, Art Crush Gallery, China International Conference of Science and Education Producers, IDOCDE.net, London Fashion Week, NFT Festa, NFT NYC y Plexus Projects, entre otros. Como intérprete ha colaborado con compañías y festivales nacionales e internacionales.
Es miembro de Bright Moments y Refraction ambas Organizaciones Autónomas Descentralizadas (DAO), su práctica se centra en la constante exploración con criptografía, arte generativo y nuevos medios.

Luis Betancourt Nuñez – Petra is a Mexican artist who investigates the intersection between the body and virtuality, generating diverse imaginaries through moving images. Her practice is grounded in experimentation and in the observation of nature and the environment, where she identifies new spectrums of spatiality between the mainstream and the digital.
She employs technologies such as creative coding, machine learning, computer vision, animation, performance, screen dance, and expanded movement. Her work has been exhibited in spaces such as Museo de Arte Moderno Mx, Salón de la Plástica Mexicana, CVPR Art Gallery, ASVOF, Miami Art Week, Super Chief Gallery, Free The Kitsch Festival, Art Crush Gallery, China International Conference of Science and Education Producers, IDOCDE.net, London Fashion Week, NFT Festa, NFT NYC, and Plexus Projects, among others. As a performer, she has collaborated with national and international companies and festivals.
She is a member of Bright Moments and Refraction, both Decentralized Autonomous Organizations (DAO), and her practice focuses on the ongoing exploration of cryptography, generative art, and new media.
